Recent Grants by Altrusa of Montrose

Recently, Altrusa 2nd Vice President (and Service Committee Chair) Ginny Spaven presented grant funding to two organizations providing needed services in our community.

Altrusa donated $200 to the Eating Disorder Support Group for positive body image materials to be part of their program being incorporated into the Montrose County School District. Ginny is presenting a check to Robin Berndt, who is showing one of the books purchased for the program.

Altrusa also donated $1,000 to All Points Transit, which recently began bus service in Montrose. The funds will be used toward registration fees for the new mass transit vehicles, including a para-transport vehicle. Ginny is shown presenting a check to Darcy Arnold, Mobility Manager for All Points Transit.
