Spring Cleaning for Heirlooms for Hospice

Natalie Frush (Altrusa & Heirlooms volunteer) presents a bag of donations to store manager Sally Lawson as volunteers Camille Miles and Margareta Kircher look on.

Altrusans were challenged recently to do some Spring Cleaning of clothing, cookware, jewelry, housewares, and other items to donate to Heirlooms for Hospice.   As usual, our members came through, bringing over 20 large bags of items to the store for them to sell to raise funds.

Hospice & Palliative Care of Western Colorado is dedicated to supporting and caring for those with serious illness and their families. They offer services to any person regardless of age, type of disease, or the ability to pay, and rely on charitable donations to carry out their work and to develop new programs.  Their Heirlooms stores in Montrose, Delta, and Grand Junction are staffed by volunteers.
